The 2020 Apple Picking Season at Rinker Orchards has come to an end. It was a great season, with fall weather and beautiful apples. We won’t let the rain that washed out our last day take anything away from the great time we all had! It was wonderful to see so many old friends, some whom have been visiting for 48 years! It was also great fun to meet so many new friends who discovered us for the very first time.
We are fortunate to have such a great staff; Connie, Colleen and JoAnn are members of our Apple Orchard family and enjoy sharing their knowledge about apples with all of you. They especially love to see your children and dogs! We have been told by so many of you how much you enjoy seeing their smiling faces and being greeted by their happy “Welcome to Rinker’s” greeting.
It was hard sometimes to tell who you were with the masks, but we sincerely appreciate you for following the guidelines by wearing a mask. This has been a tough year for all of us and being able to welcome you to apple country and our orchard while protecting you and our staff was so important to us. You showed us that it was important to you, too. Several of you were taking pictures standing under our smiling apple wearing a mask. This was designed by our friends Cynthia and Justin Wilder of WilderDesigns, so kudos go to them in Chincoteague, Virginia.
Thank you for being part of our 2020 apple season. We look forward to seeing you again in 2021!

Dudley, Tootie, Robin and Sarah (and the Rinker dogs)
